Tented River Camp, Belvidere Estate, Karkloof

Overall we were unhappy not to be able to use the sauna and the hot tub, but loved the house, and will come back. Positive: We loved the overall design, and the location. We loved the peacefulness. Negative: The sauna did not work. The door was aligning poorly meaning that the heat escaped. And the door could not be closed from inside so my partner had to close it from the outside, and so could not join me. The main elements are broken requiring the portable heater inside the sauna. This and the hot tub were main attractions for us so this was a disappointment. The hot tub is in need of renovation. The paint is coming off. We tried to heat it but did not succeed after 6 hours of trying. ( perhaps our fault ).

Positive: We loved everything about the accommodation. Highly recommend if you're craving some nature, relaxation, and genuine connection time. We'll definitely be back!

Positive: Serene and tranquil. Perfect for escaping the city. Facility was clean and modern. Lots of activities available at the property. Negative: The are two bedrooms that sleeps 4 in each. With two bunk beds in each room. Not ideal for 5 adults. there's a lot of flies but been on a farm is understandable.

Out of this world! Positive: Everything! Negative: Nothing!
