Tented River Camp, Belvidere Estate, Karkloof

Positive: This place was very special! We enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect.

Just Outstanding and beautiful stay. Positive: Loved the privacy and the easy check in system. Nos was so friendly and helpful. Absolutely enjoyed making the pizza that is offered/sold at the property. It is a beautiful hidden gem for a nice recharge. Negative: No air conditioner and the fans are only in the bedroom. It can get extremely hot in the tented camp. Flies especially at night (it’s inevitable because it’s a farm).

Really beautiful - would definitely stay again. Positive: Belvedere tented camp is located on a working farm along the Yarrow River in the Karkloof area. it’sa beautiful spot, very peaceful and just perfect if you are looking for a wholesome weekend away. Negative: The accomodation is a tent and whilst there are 2 seperate bedrooms - they do not have seperate ceiling so the sound travels. If you have a snorer in your group - the tent might not be 1st choice.

I had a marvellous quality time with my family. Positive: The cleanliness was exceptional. The appliances were luxurious. All the facilities mentioned in the booking exceeded expectations. You see that the owner put a lot thought into the design and layout of the entire space. Attention to detail for every room and every corner in the house was unique, creative and suitable for the midlands ambience. My family had so much fun in the river, the hot tub, sauna, making pizza and smores . Our hosts were friendly and attended to us swiftly. Negative: nothing
