A tranquil, modern, pet‑friendly escape we truly loved. Positive: Our time at Karkloof was absolutely wonderful. The setting is so tranquil, with a lovely atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed. The rooms are modern, beautifully laid out, and equipped with every appliance and facility you could possibly need. One of the highlights was the outdoor bath — such a unique and refreshing experience. Next time, we’ll definitely make use of the hot tub and pizza oven, which looked fantastic. The outdoor sitting area was another favorite spot, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It was also so lovely to be able to bring our little pup with us — having her there made the stay even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we can’t wait to return! Negative: Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy about our stay. Every detail — from the tranquil setting to the modern rooms and outdoor features — exceeded our expectations. If anything, the only “downside” is that our time felt too short! We didn’t get to experience everything, like the hot tub and pizza oven, which we’re saving for our next visit. 💡 Recommendation We’d recommend that future guests plan to stay a little longer, so they can fully enjoy all the wonderful amenities without feeling rushed. 🙌 Special Mention The Belvedere team was incredibly helpful — assisting us with internet access and answering our questions over the phone. Great weekend getaway Positive: Outdoor hot tub and fireplace was good. Apartment was neat and tidy Negative: The unit requires a TV. It's FIFA world cup time and we couldn't watch the soccer. There isn't much entertainment at night so a TV would be good. Lighting required for outdoor area so we can use the hot tub at night .

Negative: The utilities were old and outdated and no view
